Dr. Hasan is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered primary care for adults of all ages and consultative geriatrics.
Prior to starting Cardiology & Geriatrics Associates with her husband, she served as Associate Program Director for the Geriatric Fellowship Program at Baystate Medical Center – University of Massachusetts Medical School, where she trained future geriatricians. In addition, she was the Medical Director for the Acute Care for Elders (ACE) Unit, an inpatient program focused on specialized care for hospitalized older adults.
An active member of the American Geriatrics Society (AGS), Dr. Hasan has presented at national conferences and remains at the forefront of advancing geriatric care. Her areas of expertise include healthy aging, primary and preventive care, dementia care, polypharmacy (de-prescribing), fall assessments, end-of-life care, and hospice management. Dr. Hasan is passionate about helping older adults maintain their independence, achieve their health goals, and live fulfilling lives.
